Hi
The world trade in wine has gone up since 2000, although it went down slightly in 2012. But in real terms it seems that the value of the wine has gone down. Winemakers get less money today than in 2000.
France is the biggest exporter in value and Italy in volume. In 2012 New Zealand was ranked 8th in value and 11th in volume. Also in 2012, New Zealand (4.36 euro /L) was ranked 2nd with the highest average price per litre behind France (5.23 euro /L), but ahead of USA, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Australia. Australia's price was 2.07 euro /L.
Demand for New Zealand wine continues and with this we have new listings of cloudy and finished wines on the website. Prices and reductions are noted alongside listings.
If this email has gone to the wrong address or should be redirected then please let us know so we can send information to the right person. Our purpose is to inform not offend.
Thanks and regards,
WANTED

If you are looking for another outlet for your winery /branded labelled wine that you would like to sell then this may be the opportunity for you!
Wine Network has been asked to source for a domestic leading online wine retailer branded wines that they can offer for sale. All varieties and vintages considered. Ideally pallet loads of wine work well and the potential to move 10-20 pallets of mixed product is not unrealistic over a short period of time.
Current vintage wines or an opportunity to move older sound vintage wines, therefore ideally the price point would need to be attractive. Wine must be commercially sound.
Please let me know what you have covering the following points. Wine, volume and price (including excise). Auckland based company. Submit a response >>

OVERSEAS WINE SOURCING
Importing Bulk Wine into New Zealand.
Often we are called upon by wineries to help balance a portfolio and to offer solutions to meet market conditions. One of those solutions may be to offer wine at a price point sensitive to market conditions and that could include importing wine as bulk, bottling as country of origin or even blending with New Zealand wine. The advantage of this is quickly identified and the winery, supply chain and consumer has its needs meet.
We can offer you value for money bulk wines out of Australia either FOB or CIF pricing. Wine available only in 24Kl flexi tanks or ISO containers. Varieties such as Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling plus more at various price points and levels are available.
Utilising our existing supplier base, or targeting appropriate wineries, we identify a range of solutions, make recommendations and sample accordingly. Marketing and selling wines to a price point under second and third tier labels is totally acceptable in today's environment.
If you would like to know more about the advantages of importing bulk wine into New Zealand then please call Wine Network to discuss further on (09) 489 3644 or send us an email.
